Mangrove crab and mud clam enhancement in Palau and Pohnpei
The Nature Conservancy is piloting a mangrove crab and mud clam stock enhancement project in Palau and Pohnpei to help communities sustainably access these high-value species for local and tourist consumption, increase awareness of the value of healthy mangroves to support livelihoods, and incentivize community-based mangrove protection and management of mangrove-dependent fisheries.
