Adaptation, Vulnerability and Ecosystems
The project will generate evidence of the impacts of climate change on biodiversity and livelihoods
Different actors at multiple levels will be involved in developing knowledge and supporting different results, which will allow adopting an effective approach to ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) in the design of policies, governance structures and decision-making processes. On the other hand, considering the lessons learned in Mesoamerica, the project will develop a monitoring and evaluation methodology to demonstrate EbA’s contribution to climate change adaptation, improved livelihood, environmental conservation, and food safety.
