The Membership working group focuses on both welcoming new members, and enriching participation for existing members.
For new members, we work on processing applications and vetting the qualifications of applicants. We also ensure that new members have the most up-to-date onboarding materials and a clear pathway for engagement. In some cases we also actively recruit organizations to become new members.
For existing members, we are developing an engagement strategy so members can be more involved with the day-to-day workings of the GMA, are more present for decision-making and strategy planning, and actively participate in working groups.
